Celtic Football Club

Celtic Football Club is a professional football (soccer) club based in Glasgow, Scotland. Founded in 1887, the club is one of the most successful and popular teams in Scottish football history. Celtic competes in the Scottish Premiership, the top tier of Scottish football, and has a rich tradition, known for its passionate fanbase and historic rivalries, particularly with Rangers, known as the Old Firm rivalry. The team’s colors are green and white, and they are commonly referred to as “The Bhoys.” Celtic has won numerous league titles and domestic cups and is also known for its participation in European competitions, where it famously won the European Cup in 1967, becoming the first British club to do so.
