SDGs

SDGs stands for Sustainable Development Goals. These are a set of 17 interlinked global goals established by the United Nations in 2015, designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all” by 2030. The SDGs aim to address a range of global challenges, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice. Each goal has specific targets, totaling 169, and indicators to measure progress. The SDGs encourage countries, organizations, and individuals to work together to achieve sustainable development in an integrated and inclusive manner. The goals are intended to balance economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental protection, making them a universal call to action for all nations to work toward a more sustainable world.
